Impressions and flights over and around the water wheel at river Regnitz in Bruck, Germany. The waterwheels on the Regnitz are among the last of their kind in Central Europe and are a unique cultural monument. Using wooden buckets attached to the wheel, they scoop the warmer and oxygen-rich headwater from the river into a channel system for irrigating the fields, thus making the adjacent meadows particularly productive.
