Hurray, this Spring Snowflake (German: Märzenbecher) is the 500th post in my series “Shot in Franconia”.
A spring snowflake is a flowering plant that blooms in the spring. It is a member of the genus Leucojum, which consists of six species of plants. The spring snowflake is native to Europe, Asia, and North America. It is a bulbous plant that typically grows to a height of 15-30 cm. The leaves are linear and the flowers are white with six petals.
