Welcome to the postcard series called “Shot in Franconia”

It all started in 2020 - the Corona crisis had abruptly reduced my personal, creative “photo radius”. As a result, I wandered through and enjoyed my beautiful Franconian homeland with an even more alert eye. Hamburg, Berlin and South Tyrol were replaced by Erlangen, Bubenreuth and Franconian Switzerland. Sometimes the radius became even smaller and I dived with the macro lens into otherwise invisible worlds of the garden at home.

To give the pictures taken on these forays an appropriate setting, I began to share exactly one photo a day and exclusively digitally on my social media channels and with my family. I designed the images in the style of photo postcards and gave the series the name “Shot in Franconia”. Enjoy!
