Shot in Hamburg
Welcome to this postcard series called “Shot in Hamburg”
Impressions of Germany’s second largest city Hamburg—a city that is also known in German as the gateway to the world. Hamburg, with its harbor and piers, has always had an international flair, and this has shaped Hamburg’s cultural and musical scene. My favorite band from Hamburg, Kettcar, wrote the song “Landungsbrücken raus”. Kettcar’s frontman Marcus Wiebusch also coined the phrase: “Humanism is non-negotiable”. Like Berlin, Hamburg inspires us to give people the chance of freedom and a better life.
