Welcome to this postcard series called “Shot in France”

Here, you’ll find some impressions from beautiful France. This neighbor across the Rhine is both a cultural icon and always worth a visit for many of us Germans. From the timeless elegance of Paris—with the Louvre’s treasures and the Tour Eiffel piercing the sky above the Seine—to the dramatic coastline of Normandie, where the tide continuously reshapes the landscape, France never fails to surprise. Despite its proximity, I realize how rarely I truly explore beyond the well-trodden paths. A few hours’ drive from Franconia, it’s not exactly close, but absolutely worth the journey. So hopefully there will be more pictures of this place soon, because the wonderful countryside, historic cities, and ever-changing seascapes of France provide plenty of inspiration.
