Shot on Amrum
Welcome to this postcard series called “Shot in Amrum”
Just like in the Alps, Amrum offers a very special light. The scenery is characterized by one of the widest sandy beaches in Europe. And it feels like you can see much more sky here than anywhere else. Thanks to clever tourism Amrum managed to avoid high-rise buildings, so you can actually still feel something like solitude on some beaches—at least at the right time of day or night. And then there are the striking lighthouse (which has characterized the island of Amrum since 1875) as well as a diverse bird life. Impressions from my favourite island in the North Sea: Amrum
